December is a helluva busy month — errands, school programs, travel, parties… alllll the festive obligations. And with so much coming and going, I’ve found myself leaning into a bit of a UNIFORM on the days I need to get up and go.

Think: sweaters, denim, sneaks, a ball cap, and when the temps call for it… a coat. It’s an easy, effortless combo that makes me feel equal parts pulled together and comfortable — which is non-negotiable this time of year.

Lately, I’ve been reaching for the cashmere crewneck sweaters from Quince, these perfectly relaxed Citizens of Humanity jeans, a colorful pair of Adidas, a classic Polo ball cap, and a timeless coat to finish it off. Simple, functional, and still very me — because when life gets busy, getting dressed shouldn’t feel hard.
