Whimsy served fresh. Never one to shy away from color and prints, setting this Mackenzie-Childs summer table chock full of charm, checks, and cheer makes me beyond excited for a summer soirée. The Portugal stoneware collection is hands down my fave yet!
I pulled together some of my favorite pieces from the Mackenzie-Childs Portugal Stoneware, blending in touches from the Check Collection, the lively Go Fish Collection, and the cheerful Day at the Fair line. From colorful checkered dinnerware and hand-painted pitchers to nautical fish-shaped platters and polka-dotted salad plates, this mix feels delightfully collected.
I love how the pink and blue checks add a sweet, timeless layer, while the vibrant stripes and playful polka dots keep things lighthearted and unexpected. Topped off with fresh-cut florals, the whole table feels spontaneous and easygoing… like something you pulled together for friends, just because. For me, it’s less about perfection and more about setting a scene that feels bright, beautiful, and joy-filled.
