Fall Tablescape with MacKenzie-Childs

I’ve done many tablescapes to date, but I think this one is officially top of my list! Funky, quirky, and a tad spooky is the name of the game and these elements from MacKenzie-Childs brought that vision to life! Known for its checkered meets quirky decor, MacKenzie-Childs has a plethora of gorgeous decorations for the fall season and for any interior style. Whether you’re hosting a murder mystery dinner party or looking to upgrade your seasonal decor, MacKenzie-Childs is a great place to snag collectors items to add to your holiday repertoire. Here is the breakdown of my Halloween tablescape:

First up, the star of the show – these striped/checkered painted pumpkins! Not only are they perfect for the center of a tablescape, but they are so fun to mix/match and stack up a staircase or around a fireplace. I also snagged a few in a gorgeous Toile pattern if the “coastal grandmother” is more your aesthetic.

Next, these tapered black and white candles add such a perfect ambiance to the table and glow gorgeously off the pumpkins. Paired with these modern, sphere candle holders that tie in perfectly with my gold flatware.

And how fun are these dessert plates? The iconic MacKenzie-Childs painted striped complimented my dinnerware set perfectly.

Finally, what tablescape would be complete without giant spiders? Fake ones of course. These oversized velvet spiders are such a fun and unexpected touch and are sure to be a hit with the kiddos.

What I love most about a tablescape is the ability to have complete fun with it. Add in some florals for an organic touch, your favorite glassware and enjoy memories around the table with the ones you love most!
