It's been quite a bit since I've done a post on the FASTer Way to Fat Loss and since the next round starts in two weeks, I thought there's no time like the present to chat up the #FWTFL.  But we're gonna kick it old school and go back to the basics to answer some of my most FAQ's.  Since we've got some new cats following along the FASTer Way journey, I thought it fitting to address those questions I get asked daily.  Before we get into the meat and potatoes, two quickies.....The next FASTer Way to Fatloss starts June 18th...you can register HERE.  Also, make sure you stick around for the end of the post as I'm going to do a fun giveaway with not 1, not 2, but THREE WINNERS as well as share my progress pics!  So without further ado......

WHAT IS THE FASTER WAY TO FAT LOSS?

The FWTFL is an online fitness and nutrition program that focuses on intermittent fasting, carb cycling, and macro tracking.  We learn the proper way to fuel our bodies at the right time in an effort to burn fat effectively.  

WHAT IS A MACRO?

A macronutrient is our proteins, fats, and carbs.  These macros are what we track daily utilizing the MY FITNESS PAL APP.  If you have no clue what a macro is, don't fret, neither did i...but you WILL.  

DO I HAVE TO BELONG TO A GYM?

No ma'am.  You can workout from home or the gym.  There are beginner versions and modifications for those who may need variations.  

DO WE FAST EVERYDAY?

Yes, we intermittent fast every day, meaning we consume all of our calories (which are a ton btw) within an eight hour feeding window.  My typical window is from 12-8pm.  

WHAT IF I'M NURSING?  WILL THIS AFFECT MY SUPPLY?

Nope.  I exclusively breast fed Calvin for three rounds with zero supply issues, as does the creator, Amanda with her infant.  Modifications will be made for calorie, carb, and water intake.  

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL WEEK LOOK LIKE?

With the Faster Way To Fat Loss, we have two low carb days, two low macro days, and three regular macro days.  We workout 5 days/week and they range from 30-50 mins.  Rest is important.  Sleep is important.  Water is important.  Not over-exercising is very important.  Carbs are important.  

CAN YOU DRINK ALCOHOL?

Yes.  As long as it fits within your macros, you can drink in moderation.  I tend to skip the wine on low carb days, but I'll def have a glass or two on regular macro days.  

HOW DO YOU NOT EAT UNTIL NOON?

Lots of water.  Lots of hot tea (or coffee).  Lots of willpower initially.  But then after about day 4, you're a dang rockstar and you'll be amazed at how GOOD you feel when fasted....sounds crazy, but 'tis true!  It's all about progress over perfection, gang!  

I'M BUSY.  I WORK.  I HAVE KIDS.  MY HUSBAND IS OUT OF TOWN.  I'M TRAVELING.  CAN I DO THIS?

Yes.  Yes you most definitely can do this.  Do you WANT TO DO THIS?  If the answer is YES.  YES you want to make a change.  YES you want to be healthier, physically and mentally.  YES you want to optimize your eating habits.  Then YOU CAN DO THIS.  We are ALL BUSY GANG in some form or fashion.  WE ALL HAVE OBLIGATIONS.  THIS CAN BE DONE.  YOU JUST HAVE TO WANT IT.  I'VE DONE THE FASTER WAY WITH A NEWBORN, TWO VERY INVOLVED CHILDREN, A HUSBAND WHO WORKS HIS HIND OFF, A HOUSE BUILD, A MOVE, TRAVELING, THANKSGIVING, XMAS, NEW YEAR'S ...AND A JOB.  IT CAN BE DONE, GANG, I PROMISE YOU.  JUST GOTTA COMMIT.  AND IT'S SO WORTH IT. 

DO I HAVE TO HAVE FACEBOOK TO JOIN?

You do not; HOWEVER, I would encourage you to privately join so you can benefit from the supportive resources and accountability that comes with the facebook community.  It truly is such a valuable, motivating source during your 6 week tenure!  But not necessary.  

HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER PROGRAM I'VE DONE?

I'll speak from my personal experience.  Prior to my wedding, I was a madwoman at Orange Theory.  We're talking 6 days a week for about three months leading up to the big day.  I've always been someone who loves to workout so this was no different although I busted my hump harder than I ever had before--but I still didn't feel 100%.  And here's the kicker......after 6 weeks with my very first round of the Faster Way To Fat Loss, I was stronger, leaner, eating more, working out less...I was at an OPTIMAL place.  The proof is in the pudding--check out my very first BEFORE (wedding) and AFTER HERE,  Gang....this program W O R K S like nothing I've ever seen or done.  It is a lifestyle for me, and I simply couldn't love the program more.  There are over 1000 seersucker readers who have jumped on the bandwagon and the testimonials and success stories are unreal.  All ages, all sizes, it's truly been so incredible, inspirational, and empowering to see so many women transform their lives and find something that works.  I cannot stress my love for this program enough...well, hells, I actually can and have within THESE POSTS...... It's funny, when I first started the FASTer Way to Fat Loss back in October 2016, there were about 100 fellow boot campers ....now there are no less than 1000 in any given round.  It's the real deal, gang.
