Mother’s Day with The Village Cookbook

Looking for a last minute gift or stumped on the mom who seems to have everything? Look no further than The Village Cookbook — chock full of delicious recipes and anecdotes from the special women who helped raise me, I am rounding up three different ways to gift The Village Cookbook to the fabulous women in your life this Mother’s Day!

The Head Chef: First and perhaps the most obvious, what better gift for the woman who loves to cook than a beautiful cookbook to add to her collection. Though an amazing gift as a standalone, you could elevate it with this Mini Always Pan from Our Place, which just so happens to be 20% off! Throw in a recipe card box, a set of pretty dishtowels, and you’re good to go!

The Home Decor Obsessed: When designing this cookbook, similar to a coffee table book, I wanted to create something that people would be proud to keep out on display! Based on reviews, I think it’s safe to say we nailed it. For a fun compliment to the wonderful dishes in this book, pair it with these faux artichokes and a wooden bowl for a playful table display!

The Host: Got a mom who never passes up an opportunity to host? If so, the cookbook pairs perfectly with a beautiful set of champagne coups (along with a bottle of bubbly of course). You could also snag some pretty florals, either from your local florist or if you want to take a stab at creating your own, these are from Trader Joe’s. Arrange them in a pitcher, I love this one from Tory Burch and this one from Anthropologie. The best part is she can reuse for future entertaining!

The Village Cookbook is available in both hardback and digital, while That Bowl Life is offered in digital only at www.bethchappo.com — be sure to snag a copy for these delicious recipes and much more…and if you’re “mom” reading this, NO SHAME in sending this guide to your loved ones…hint hint!
